Adding the framework to other themes - Easy method

The Block Kit framework contains files that need to be on your site for Block Kit to work. The Blocks/Stacks will only display in preview mode if the theme you are using has the Block Kit framework. The easy method adds the Rapidweaver.org framework by simply dragging and dropping a snippet supplied with Block Kit.

This method is only suitable for designing your site and testing your site. The snippet loads the files off the rapidweaver.org server. This means that you will need an internet connection when testing your site. The rapidweaver.org server might not always be up, so if you were to use this method on a live site, and rapidweaver.org went offline, your site would go down too, perhaps permanently. Having said that, this is a great way to easily design your site, but once you are ready to put it live, upgrade to hard method.

Open the easy folder

1) In the Dmg file you downloaded from Rapidweaver.org, double click the easy folder.

Install the snippet - only needs to be done once.

1) Double click easy.rwsnippet to install it into rapidweaver.

Add snippet

1) On the page you want to add Block Kit to, click Page Info
2) Select Header
3) Select Header
4) Click Snippets, this is where your snippet installed into (if it does not show up, try restarting rapidweaver)
5) Select the snippet 'Block Kit 1.3 - Easy' and drag it into the header box.

You will need to do steps 1-6 on every page you want to add the Rapidweaver.org framework to. Remember to only use this method for design and testing.
