Medium method

For the Block Kit to work with a 3rd party theme some files need to be added. Here we will add the files to just a single page. This method is relatively easy and allows the theme to be easily changed. The disadvantage to this method is that it can slow the download times and it must be done to every page that you want to use Block Kit on. This method is suitable for publishing your site.

Add the snippet - only needs to be done once.

1) Open the snippets folder in the file you downloaded from rapidweaver.org, double click medium.rwsnippet to install. You only ever need to do this step once

Add the snippet to the header

1) On the blocks page you want to use Block Kit with, click page info

2) Click Header

3) Click Header

4) Click Snippets

5) Drag the snippet 'Block Kit 1.2 - Medium' into the header box as shown. If the snippet does not show up, try restarting Rapidweaver. Make sure you clear the header of any version of the 'Block Kit 1.2 - Easy' snippet.

Add the assets

1) Choose Assets

2) Click 'add files...'

3) Select the 'add_to_assets' which is in the 'assets' folder inside the file you downloaded from rapidweaver.org.

Check that it is working

Drag a block onto the page and hit preview. Hopefully it will show up.
